Mr. Mamadee Konneh, former president of WIMAM known as man of peace

The former president Mamadee Konneh has endorsed and pledged support for the newly elected president Abraham Fofana before gathering WIMAM members at the Dawah center on Friday shortly after the Jommah prayer. According to the former President Mr. Mamadee Konneh, it is his obligation to publicly endorse Mr. Abraham Fofana whom he has grew to know as a man of many qualities and call on all others to join the elected corps to move this community forward.
Mr. Konneh support for the president is predicated on the support of the Elderly Council that organized the just ended election. I support the elderly council and stood by their decision, “I personally feel that this election is the best way to move forward”, said Mr. Konneh

In addition to Mr. Mamadee Konneh endorsement, our president elect has also received numbers of congratulation calls from other sister Mandingo organizations leadership around the nation. One of many calls came from the President of the Atlanta Mandingo Association Mr. Amara Bility who also pledges support and look forward to good working relationship. Others were Mr. Abdulaye Kromah of Huston Mandingo Association who also pledge support for the new president elect and Ali Jabateh, secretary general of LIMAP. Among the high profiles that call and congratulate the president elect from Minnesota are former V.P Mr. Mohammed Dorley, PR of MMA Mrs. Mamasee Toure Kouyateh, Kafumba Kromah, Vakaba Kouyateh, and Hon. B.T, Chairman of board of director.

Meanwhile the WIMAM president elect Mr. Abraham Fofana has pledged to work cooperatively with all sister organizations, his oppositions and has offered his kind word of friendship and brotherhood to come together for the betterment of our greater community in Milwaukee and nation wide. He spoke highly of his corps of officers, N’vally Konneh V.P, Siaka Konneh, speaker, Mawa Bility Secretary General and Mohammed Bamba, financial Secretary who all have made unity as the primary focus of the administration.
